Part 135 Chief Pilot

Reports to: Director of Operations

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Englewood, CO for a Part 135 Chief Pilot. The Part 135 Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing flight operations and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. The Chief Pilot will also manage a team of pilots, oversee training and development, and coordinate with other departments to ensure that operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
• Type rating in one of the following preferred: G200, HS125, CE560XL/XLS, Lear45 or CE525
• Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience
• Experience as a Chief Pilot or other leadership position
• (1)In the case of a person becoming a Chief Pilot for the first time ever, have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
• (2) In the case of a person with previous experience as a Chief Pilot, have at least 3 years experience as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
• Ability to effectively manage teams and work collaboratively with other departments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and priorities
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field preferred
