Reports to: Director of Operations
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Englewood, CO for a Part 135 Chief Pilot. The Part 135 Chief Pilot will be responsible for overseeing flight operations and ensuring compliance with FAA regulations. The Chief Pilot will also manage a team of pilots, oversee training and development, and coordinate with other departments to ensure that operations run smoothly.
Qualifications
- Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
- Type rating in one of the following preferred: G200, HS125, CE560XL/XLS, Lear45 or CE525
- Minimum of 5 years of aviation experience
- Experience as a Chief Pilot or other leadership position
- (1)In the case of a person becoming a Chief Pilot for the first time ever, have at least 3 years experience, within the past 6 years, as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
- (2) In the case of a person with previous experience as a Chief Pilot, have at least 3 years experience as pilot in command of an aircraft operated under part 121 or part 135 of this chapter.
- Ability to effectively manage teams and work collaboratively with other departments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or related field preferred
